Hell is the realm of devils and the multiversal seat of tyranny and malignant law. Every act here is authorised, calculated, recorded and set like perfectly ordered clockwork within a vast machine driven on methodical suffering. Its nine inverted layers violently oppose the surrounding fabric of the Maelstrom, and each is shaped to reflect the nature of the archdevil who rules it.
The uppermost is a volcanic waste that serves as the marshaling ground of Hell's armies and the place where newly damned souls are shackled and shuffled off to their assigned torments. Below it lie a great iron city, brutal and beautiful and terrible; that city's sewers, which double as the vaults and treasuries of Hell; the infernal forges; a watery realm housing Hell's libraries; a smoldering, ash-draped forest where the infernal armies train; a frozen layer that torments the starving damned; and a realm of cages and torture suspended over a pit of hungry darkness. At the very bottom of Hell's infinite pit, its ruler holds a throne no one questions.
This plane prints no trait row, which means its scope, gravity, time and morphic behaviour all match the Universe.
