Heaven is a great mountain, the realm of structured benevolence made manifest. It is organized into seven tiers, and its solid appearance is in fact malleable, making way for a vast assemblage of varied environments to accommodate both its celestials and the souls who migrate there. Devoted to defending the innocent and crusading against the wicked, its archons marshal into vast armies under the command of their empyreal lords, and angels collaborate with those legions while acting in more direct service to the plane's resident deities.
Shades known as the elect manifest at the mountain's base, and their climb up its seemingly endless heights is a literal and a figurative journey at once: progress is a matter of personal growth and spiritual purification as a shade grows more attuned to the plane, and moving from one layer to the next is often impossible without permission from the archons or spiritual alignment with Heaven itself. Most visitors arrive at a coastal city open to traders and to pilgrims of good intent; passage beyond its heavily guarded walls is difficult, let alone scaling the mountain. At the pinnacle lies a final layer, unattended and empty, a transcendent mystery even to the plane's own deities and the source of its call to self-perfection.
This plane prints no trait row, which means its scope, gravity, time and morphic behaviour all match the Universe.
